2 Channel Opto Coupler
This small board will allow you to opto-isolate two discrete signals. Very useful in situations where you require galvanic isolation or have isolated DCDC converters. It uses the standard MOCD207M with large Phoenix screw connectors. These can either be used or wired directly into the device. Any 0805 resistor will work on this board, but ensure you select the correct value to prevent overcurrent on the opto isolator.
Use LED Calculator & a LED voltage drop of 1.25V @ 30mA to calculate a near known resistor value.
If you are using this to add a NPN transistor to a circuit, you can solder the pads to short + & GND to the opto isolator. In this mode it will act similar to a NPN switch.
Ensure you match the input & output voltages & currents correctly to prohibit damage to any device or system that may be connected to this device.
