Likewise, incoming orders were slow; compared to August of last year circuit board, incoming order was 12.4% lower. However, total incoming circuit board orders for the first eight months of 2013 reached the same level as that of last year.
The book-to-bill ratio in August circuit board, meanwhile, was 0.89.
In terms of workforce, the number of employees in the PCB industry in August was 4.5% lower circuit board compared to last year, driven mainly by the closure of a multinational company.
