Solar inverter communication (RS485) board makes me possibility to check inverter production, status and etc. The system is composed of simple and inexpensive elements. It also allows you to service the device, view and clear errors, and set parameters. Building this system can save you several dozen dollars. The manufacturer wants several hundred dollars for a factory interface. Producing it yourself is around $10.
