I'm designing a FPC, which is a replica and enlarged version of a small connector on a Device motherboard.
Normally this connector is suppose to connect with another component of the Device, in order to enable measurement. Unfortunately, once the second component gets connected to the connector, measurement become hard to perform.
This FPC will help me measure easily all pin of the FPC connector, while it is connected to the second component of the Device.
From how i picture it, i would have my enlarged connector (as a printed circuit) on the middle, a FPC connector on one side (connected directly to the Device motherboard), and an other FPC connector connecting to the second component of the Device (enabling current flow between the two, and allowing with that measurement).
With that in mind, i was questioning myself: Are the FPC connector on my device specific to it, or are all FPC connector homologated?
If they are homologated, can you implement them on my design if i specify connection and emplacement?
