I am planning build a "DuoTech MediaStation," which will serve the role of both a Linux-based PC and an Android-based TV. The device will have power button, HDMI-switcher button, a speaker volume button and display brightness button along with four USB ports, two HDMI ports, an Ethernet port, AV, SPDIF, SD card slot, and a camera port. The HDMI switcher will allow you to navigate between the built-in Linux-based single-board computer, the Android-based single-board computer, and any external source of hardware.
